Wing rear spar Attach fittings - Thanks for the heads up Paul Minelga

Thanks to Paul Minelga's Kitlog site, I had a warning that there may be issues if you make the rear attach fittings per the templates on the plans. I found that if you drill the holes in the forward fittings per the template in the plans, it is further out than the 1 1/16" REF dimension shown on the plans. This is actually a good thing because at 1 1/16" hole spacing, there is little to no clearance between the fitting and the rounded end of the spar.

I'm learning a lot in this process. Now have better appreciation for when Bob tags a dimension with "REF".

I moved the hole out to match the forward fitting spacing and added some material length. Wing Attach Fittings (13).JPG

Thanks to you Paul, this may be one of the few times I only make a fitting once!
