  • Inboard Flap Tube Support

Could someone post a pic or drawing of the inboard flap drive tube support. There doesn't seem to be a good description on the plans.
    Thanks,
    Dan

No......but thanks. I should have been a little more patient and continued to look in the "Newton Manual". I found my answer in the Wings CD under "Other Assemblies in the Wing", item #6. I was looking for the piece that spans between the two center ribs in this area. There has been discussion in the past about this piece and whether it is required...unless my memory is confused...a real possibility!!?

In the early Bearhawks it was just an angle attached to the inboard rib. I think at some point it was updated to be a piece that spans the inboard rib (now a double rib) and the adjacent rib.

Thanks, mswain. That was the change made. Not very clear from the plans only.
