  • Flap Hinge Rod end alignment adjustment

With the outboard and inboard rod ends fixed to the hinges, there is about 1/16" travel when I lower the flap. The rod end in the middle comes out when I lower the flap. Not able to figure out how to adjust this. Anyone have a suggestion?

    Thanks
    Hari

Found the answer in Eric's manual. Put a wide area washer between the flap hinge and the spar and this removed the travel.

Yep, there was a similar conversation on the Patrol side, I believe, where rigging and such were discussed. The use of washers in various hinge positions came into play.

You must be getting close to completion!
