Got a quick technical question for you guys. I am in the middle of making my nose ribs. on my form I added the extra 9/16 inch for the flange. But once I cut the blank out and bent the flange over it doesn't look as big as the ones in other people's pictures. I measured the flange and it does measure at 9/16 inch. Is this an optical illusion, or is my flange not big enough and do I need to add more material to my blanks? Lance Buckless Byron, GA BH 1309 Plans Builder

Thanks. I checked with my sheet metal experts too out here on base and they said it would work fine as well. Just didn't know if other builders had added some width to their flanges or some reason that i was not aware of. Really need to get out your direction an see your project!
