    Bearhawk s/n 877 came to life today with a brief idle run of its IO-360. Whoa is that thing loud! All engine parameters looked good. Still have a few fairings to make, then weigh-in, then call a DAR. Next week I travel down to Hickory, NC to take Jared Yates’ transition course...can’t wait

    You and I have just about the same timing on the build. I just finished working on my final completion list tonight. Depending on the DAR's schedule, I'll probably be flying in July also.

    Good luck on the fairings! The landing gear fairing took all my arts and crafts skills. Made me feel stupid! :-)

      Yeah. Glad I didn’t have to make fairings first...might not have ever gotten past that first step!
