  • Aileron Deflection

I hung my ailerons yesterday and started to rig them. I couldn't find a reference for what the deflection should be up and down. My left and right side are different so I need to know which if either is correct so I can adjust them correctly.

    Thanks,

    Gene Seiter

My plans page 1 says 20 degrees up and 20 degrees down.

Be sure to align the aileron bottom exactly with the wing bottom. It is important to have the aileron leading edge protrude from the lower surface as much as possible. This will give you the most aerodynamic counter balance and lighten aileron control forces.
