fairing

On the fairing between the wing and the fuselage, should there be screws on both side of the fairing. I have already prepared nut plates on the wing side of the fairing. Should one drill small holes into the square tube and and tap either 4-40 or use a small sheetmetal screw to keep the fairing from fluttering in the airflow? What have others done. Anyone have any pictures?

I don't think you need screws on the fuselage side on the underside, front, or in the aft section on top. Both those areas abut the fabric at right angles, so screwing them together would be complicated...

I did use screws on both sides at the skylight, because I needed mine to seal and be watertight, but I suspect that's not necessary either...

After some 180 hours so far, these fairings haven't created any issues - the fabric has survived just fine with them pressing on it.
I used rubber channel on all metal-fabric pressure points, and glued that rubber in place with clear-setting epoxy.
I used gasket-maker on the underside of the front of wing fairings, to prevent them chaffing and removing paint on the metal-metal contact point (which becomes metal-gasket-metal).
