I'm trying to figure out how to attach the aft portion of the under door panels. The manual says to adel clamp AL angle... This all seems more complicated than it needs to be to get it looking right. Has anyone run fabric all the way to the boot cowl flange and just glued brackets to the inside of the fabric for the under door panels and belly metal behind "C"? I hope everyone is having a great time at OSH. Thanks, Matt

Hi Matt, welcome to the forum - looks like your first post!
I went the angle + adel clamp route myself. It is kinda complicated / heavy for that particular situation.
I think your idea could work. The fabric beats pretty hard in flight at times, you would want to do a good job of gluing it, with a piece of fabric over the back side as if you were installing an inspection ring.

Thanks Jonathan. It is my first post here, I was pretty active over on Yahoo. This forum doesn't play as well with mobile/tapatalk so I haven't been active. I took a year off building and am trying to get back at it so I'll be logging more often here.
I pretty much have the AL angle thing figured out and it's going to look ok (can't really tell until fabric though). I can't even tell where the fabric transitions on your plane so that's a real nice job!
