  • Bearhawk 4-Place David Pearson's 4-Place (Early A) Quick Build Kit Log

    Hi all,

    I will start with caveats and disclaimers:
    1. This is my first build, so input from all is welcome!
    2. This is an OLD kit - delivered from Avipro to the first owner in 2006. Some work was done on the fuselage by that individual (landing gear install, tailfeathers initially fitted), and the wings were in their original crates and untouched (aside from some 4-legged inhabitants). The kit was well-stored for > 10 years after the original builder stopped working on it, a true "barn find"!
    3. I update the build log with notes (terse) and photos (excessive) after every session. I try to do something on the project every day, but don't always succeed. 4-6 days a week is my average, but most days are only 1-2 hours due to work and family commitments.
    4. I will try to update this thread with major milestones as they occur.
