Builders Support Question

Tell me about the builders support that is available for the scratch builder of the LSA. I see Eric Newtons Builders Manual is targeted for the 4 Place and Patrol. Is it also a comprehensive resource for the LSA, as opposed to something that would provide incomplete guidance?

All three models of Bearhawk use very similar and often identical construction techniques. Eric's manuals will give you a great head start. The LSA is also the simplest of the three designs due to not having flaps or a cargo door. You should still expect to need other resources though. I would recommend the Bingelis books, AC 43.13, EAA homebuilders videos, Beartracks, the designer (he is very friendly) and of course this forum.

Beartracks....I see the subscription is available on the bearhawk store. give me feed back on the back issues.

We generally say that the LSA content starts with 2012. There are articles in the prior years that may indirectly apply. I'm working on a new delivery option for old Beartracks issues, but it is still a few months from being ready.

Those are good. Their Tig welding dvd is also good.
