Anyone know the approximate weight of finished covering fabric? I need to balance my elevators.

For Poly Fiber fully painted (with Poly-Tone) its about .10 pounds per square foot. So ten square feet is about one pound.

So as not to cause confusion - That's 1/10th of a pound per square foot.

I used Eric's numbers to do my calculation. From memory, I think I used about 5.5lbs of lead?? - but let me check my notes first before you use that number! Mine came out spot on, they will stay put wherever they are positioned, which is purely luck of course.

My aging eyes did miss the decimal in front of the "10" then almost popped out of their socket.
