  • New Bearhawk First Flight

    Chuck Morris flew his Bearhawk last week for the first time. It's a 4-cylinder Lycoming and he's in Michigan near Detroit, and that's all I have for details so far. Chuck doesn't do email and such, but folks who have been regulars at Bob's picnic will remember seeing him there.

        I believe it is almost entirely a scratch build, if not all. Here is a video that his wife sent of the first takeoff.

          How long was he at it? Thanks for the video! It looks like a 3pt all the way to lift off. Is that pretty common for a first test flight?
