    Good morning all,

While going back through my project notes this morning, I noticed that some comments that were made during my construction process had been deleted by the author. It's too bad, too, because they were really useful comments. Usually the reason that some are deleted is because they're removed from the comments section for the post and re-added as an individual post so that it can be better picked up by Tapatalk and similar. And, of course, we had that discussion a while back as well (comments versus posts).

I'd like to suggest that if you have a comment or reply you'd like to make to a post, please leave it so that others can benefit. Coming back some time later and reading through someone's post is very helpful when you're trying to learn from the person who has performed a step before you. But removing posts and comments makes for a discontinuity in the discussion. If you remove a post, it is certainly your preference, of course. But I encourage you to leave it for others' benefit.

    Happy Holidays to all!
    ~Chris

I'd share the same sentiment. It takes a little bit of work to keep things going around here, and that effort is totally worthwhile in part because we are constructing an archive that is going to serve us for years to come. Unless it is disassembled before then.

If you decide later that an earlier post was not corrrect, deleting it is better than nothing at all, but a follow-up to explain why is even better.
