Is there some setting for getting photos on Tap-a talk from the iPad? They seem to come through OK when using Chrome or Safari. Thanks Mike BearHawk #1250 KLXT

I can only read/write posts...no pictures either. Taptalk HD doesn't function for the Bearhawk group. Shortwing piper.org works perfectly in taptalk HD. Mark M. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Tapatalk utilizes 3 pieces of software: The mobile app, the core forum software, and a plugin that interfaces the two. I believe there are compatibility issues between VBulletin 5 and the Tapatalk plugin that are still being worked on, though I'm only guessing. Jared could shed more light on it.

I was able to post this though, using the Imgur photo hosting option in the latest version of Tapatalk.

I'm able to post photo's using taptalk and can see them using tap talk. The problem is with photo's hosted by this forum. I'm guessing Zzz is correct that VB5 and taptalk are not working together.

Mine too and I can't offer a suggestion on how to fix it. I don't think its a setting in the forum. If anyone has a suggestion, I would be willing to try it.

It seems like it's isolated to photos stored/hosted on http://bearhawkforums.com.....which leads me to believe it's probably a permissions issue on the local server. I am guessing there is a tapatalk plugin running along with Vbulletin? It seems I can see photos that are hosted external, ie. tapatalk, imgur, etc.

I can help you troubleshoot if you want.

EDIT: also, the avatar and profiles (also stored on the server) do not show in tapatalk......also leading me to believe it's a local permissions/setup issue.)

I think Mike is right. I can see photos hosted externally such as the one Zzz posted. Mike BearHawk #1250 KLXT

Testing on the latest tt version looks promising. If you are using an i-device, download the latest update and see if the pictures start showing up.

Looks like I spoke too soon, oops! The pictures aren't working especially well with this version either.
