Hinge

drawing 13, flap hinge. I drilled 1/4” hole as per plans. Hole center to edge is 5/8”. Plans say 11/32. Factory made part, I assume I trim down hinge material. Issue being hinge hitting aft edge of bottom wing skins and flap to wing top skin clearance unable to achieve 3/16-1/4 “ clearance as per wing assembly manual 1 page 24.

There are various things that can be done to space the wing further aft to get better clearance. If you have good edge margin on the hinge hole - you could remove some material there. Mark
