  • Maule Gear?

Does anyone know if Maule gear fits the attach points on the fuse?

It seems unlikely all three attachments points are going to fit. The tolerance is tight, besides the design and geometry of the Maule gear is not the same as BH landing gear.

If you were just looking at the main legs themselves, and had ability to modify things to fit (cutting and welding) then maybe it could be made to work.

Thanks, with the Maule oleo I didn’t know how much was borrowed...

The Maule gear has an open tube at the landing gear end...is streamline with an internal round tube with rosette welds. Then a link to the landing gear.. can get you pictures if you’d like and I think I have the drawings as well. The spring pack end would fit a Bearhawk. I think the non-streamline tube Bearhawk oleo strut is superior to the Maule Oleo strut.
