Was just on vacation in Florida and was sad to hear they are closing down so my dad and I swung over there again. Its really an awesome place. Hopefully they will re-open again someday. Kermit Weeks really does a great thing for aviation. Click on my link to see my pictures

They are just closing to the general public...not enough visitors to justify keeping the doors open during regular hours. They will still be a venue for private functions and a restoration facility.

Thanks for the pictures, I haven't made it down there yet to check it out unfortunately. The Sikorsky flying boat tucked in the back right of one of those pics was completely rebuilt by a guy here in town. Also one of our sheet metal guys did a big portion of the work, as I recall it took about 7 years.
