I'll bring a few Bearhawk hats and such, but if anyone has any special requests, let me know by the day before or so.

I'm hoping to make it there in conjunction with a business trip to Charlottesville. Have you gotten any blue kid's size ball caps in? It's a bribe to get my grandson to be my hangar rat. Mike Nault BH #1250 KLXT

Michele and I will be there, Leaving the day before. Making a weekend of it. I think I saw 10-3 for times. I ordered the latest Beartracks on Friday but haven't gotten them yet so I don't have any further info, which I assume is in the latest issue. I have the address.

Had a great time today! ...and other than clouds not letting me take advantage of the 35 kt tail winds and a few rain drops on the windshield, the flight home to NH went well. Had I not stopped for fuel, I would have flown KAFN-THS-W24-VA04-THS-KAFN and arrived back with 2.3 gal. Instead I stopped at 14N on the way home and took on 30 gal. Cheers! Ty Bearhawk

Great putting some faces to names (in person) today. Michele and I enjoyed the trip down to Roanoke/Fincastle for the weekend. It's a nice area, very much like the Poconos not too far from us. Sorry I missed you today, Kestrel, you took off after I was there for a few minutes. Nice color scheme. Also nice seeing Bob's Patrol up in the air again. I needed the inspiration !

It was our first time to one of Bob's picnics and we'll try to make it an annual event from now on. It was great seeing Bob's Patrol flying again! Good to see some familiar faces again and put faces to names like Ed said. It's good to know there is another Michele with one "L" too :-) I was beginning to think my wife was the only one. It was a good turn out and like always with the Bearhawk community a bunch of good people! Here's a picture of Bob with all three - his Patrol, Bearhawk and LSA. When I grow up I want to be just like Bob :-) Wayne BH733

Dallas Shell and I made it along with my neighbor that has a Bearhawk project. Bob took my neighbor for a ride in the 4 seat prototype and now he's all pumped up in finishing his Bearhawk. Great day, that I always look forward to. I have missed one picnic since Bob started having them and that was because I was sick. See you next year. Dan R.
