  • New Hartzell Trailblazer composite props

I saw a press release yesterday about a new line of Hartzell carbon fiber props for bush plane type applications, and spoke with our Hartzell rep about them briefly this morning. I don't have a lot of info right now, but in the next few weeks should have pricing and specs. These will work for the 4 cylinder Lycomings (2 blade 78", 80, 83") and three blade for the 540's also. If you want a new composite prop, these might be a good option. More details to follow in a few weeks. Mark

Thanks for the info! I'm quite a ways from needing a prop but good info to have.

Thanks. Unfortunately, they don't list them for the O-320.

Digging up an old thread here. Does anyone know what the pricing came in at for these props?

If you are ready to order a prop for your project contact me privately. The Trailblazer is an expensive but excellent prop choice. There have been 4 or 5 Patrol builders order them and more recently one 4 place BH (with 4 cylinder engine) also. Mark
