Tuesday my neighbor Jim said you have to see what is in my hangar. Turned out it was a Patrol. Jim winters in Casa Grande, AZ and had met Curtis from Manitoba who was there with his Patrol at the fuel pump. Jim had invited several pilot friends to come do some local off airport flying. Due to bad weather Curtis and his friend Rick were the only ones to make it. Curtis told Jim he was having problems with high cylinder head temps. They pulled the cowling and Jim noted where air was leaking by the baffling in several spots. Jim helped Curtis replace all the rubber baffling. A test flight showed a 25 deg improvement in cylinder head temps. This was the patrol built by Peter Stevens. I posted more pictures in the completed Bearhawks section.
