  • Engine Isolator Torque Value

I purchased the RV-10 Firewall Forward kit for my IO-540. Included are the Barry 94110-01 engine isolators. What's not included are the torque values for the isolators. Vans references the standard torque table which indicates 37.5 to 41.6 FT LB's for the AN7 bolt. Can anyone confirm this value? Thanks!

    Hey Rob,
The isolator are designed such that they compress and bottom down on the inner steel sleeve. So, you torque the nut to the AN bolt spec, and you’re done (...after placing the cutter pin...).

That's what I thought. Just needed to confirm. Thanks, Mike!
