Does anyone know of a four letter/digit ATC identifier for a four place Bearhawk? I’m always asked for one when requesting flight following.

    BEAR

Curious if the bearhawk 4 place/patrol have an official type designation. This is like PA28 for Cherokees. It really only matters when filling an international(going to Canada) flight plan. In the US you file EXP-# depending on airspeed. My other airplane, a highlander, was HIGH.

I read somewhere that the designation is BEAR for the 4 place.
