The price of store bought firewall penetrations for wiring seemed a bit excessive. I ended up making my own. But a tip I discovered is that "shower rod" or "closet rod" bases can be had in SS for 9-15 dollars for 2-4, in sizes between 3/4" and 1 1/4".
