Great workmanship. They look very elegant. Is 22 inches the span per wingtip, measured from the end of the wing spar?

I know you told us already Gerhard, but please remind me what the weight was?

The stock fiberglass wingtips are around 2kg each from memory, my 16" span fiberglass hoerner tips (with one 2024 rib midspan inside each) are roughly 4kg each. These weights are painted with no lights or any other fittings.

Bob limited me to 22’ to get the curved surfaces to all work out, I just made it within that limit. It is 22 inches ea

Thanks, they are 4kg ea, the leading edges will be carbon fibre to keep the weight down. There will be a taxi light in each leading edge of the tip and nav lights on the edges.

You have done a nice job keeping the weight down, as well as the aesthetics. I imagine the rounded trailing ed corners have helped manage weight. That area is one of the thickest / heaviest on mine.
