  • Latest Beartracks, Carbon Fiber Nose Bowls, Cookout and Swap Meet, and 2014 Survey

The third quarter Beartracks newsletter is out! Let me know if you are a subscriber and didn't get it in your inbox. Paper issues will go out in another few days.

Bob has started making carbon fiber versions of the nosebowls for all three types. These save a pound and add $40 to the price, and there is a whole page of details in the newsletter.

Also, don't forget to come to Bob's airport for his annual picnic/fly-in on 10/18. He also is planning to sell a few of his parts that have cosmetic imperfections and welcomes other folks to bring Bearhawk-related items to sell. More details and directions are on page 11.

Finally, there is a link in the newsletter for a Bearhawk Survey. The survey is intended to help give direction to things like Beartracks. Non-subscribers are also welcome to take the survey, which is available here: http://beartracksnewsletter.com/input/

I agree Jared. I have been involved with the Bearhawk crowd for about 12 years now and have never seen a better job done on the newsletter than what you are producing these days. Keep up the great work!

Thanks for the kind words guys, but I just copy and paste. The newsletter is only as good as the articles, and we've been fortunate to have good contributors!

I agree. Very well done Jared. I am planning on making it out to Bob's on the 18th. Flying or driving haven't figured that out yet. Going to put out a feeler soon to see if anybody from DC needs a ride or split gas if I fly out there.
