As I mull things over while working on the wing I was looking at the flap area on the back of the wing rear spar. It seems like this area stays "open" allowing for access thru the lightening holes to the wing interior (after deflecting the flaps out of the way) when the wing is completed. Not the same for the aileron area which is closed out with the cove pieces. Is this a correct understanding?
