Carb Heat Muff

I got a Vetterman cross-over exhaust with dual heat muffs installed on my Patrol/Lycoming YO-360-A1A. With the exhaust also came a small heat muff which I use for carb heat. There were no instruction for it but there was only one place where it would fit.

Question for anybody who is using this part, how did you mount it? The best I could come up with, without modification is using heavy gauge safety wire.

Can you use stainless steel gear drive hose clamps?

Maybe I was distracted by those little holes. Looking at it again, the side lips may be enough to use hose clamps.

Will give it a try.
