  • 4 place vs 5 place wing design differences

I am just getting into a scratch build 4place, but saw the 5 is out and am curious about how hard it would be to build a 5 out of a 4. I have the spar and ribs just about done, they need primer so I do not want to rework all of the metal but I was curious if it is just a longer fuselage with a stiffened spar or what. Thanks for all of your input!

I thought I used to know the answer to that but not sure. If your plans are for the 4B, the wing is going to be very similar. Ask Bob to get a definite answer. Also it is confusing that the Bearhawk 5 (5th Bearhawk Model) is a 6 seater.

The 4 and 5 wings are exactly the same. I have confirmed this with Bob. I also have a set of plans for both the 4 and the 5 and they are the same. I built my wings from the 4 plans but I am going to build everything else from my 5 plans.
