  • LSA fuel tank dimensions

The Bearhawk LSA book gives some nice drawings on how to scratch build fuel tanks. Can anyone comment on the width of their LSA fuel tank? My book says 29inch x 7 wide. I’m guessing 17 is correct, given the fact that it goes in a 20 inch wide hole more or less. 29L x 17w x 7H (roughly) also makes closer to 15 gallons capacity.

Yes scratch building LSA wings w QB fuse ordered. Was thinking of getting the tanks done well before the hole for them is created. Perhaps this is ill- advised. Really nice pics, thanks!
