Matco axle nuts

For those of you building an LSA with Matco wheels, Matco offers a custom axle nut with a wide flange to retain the bearing. unfortunately it doesn’t fit our axle even though the thread specs are the same. the nut threads are rolled type threads and are far too tight on our (I think) die cut threaded axle. i returned them and will use the standard Wicks axle nut which fits fine with a wide washer behind it to capture the bearing.

The rest of the Matco hardware fits perfect. I’m going with 6” wheels, dual puck brakes, 8.50 tubeless smoothie dessers. Matco part numbers MHMHE6B1.25D
