  • Landing Gear Rough Lengths

Would anyone have the rough lengths of the 1 3/8 X .065 on hand? From what I can see from the plans without mocking up a side, 3 foot lengths would be plenty? Thanks

I did a CAD drawing of the LSA/Patrol gear for planning purposes. The LSA was just under 28" center of axle line to center of gear mount bolt. The actual notched piece of tubing would be slightly shorter than that in overall length. If I remember correctly the Patrol was just under 31" center of axle to center of gear mount bolt.

4 - 3' pieces of tubing will give you plenty of length to work with, and the shipping was very reasonable from AS.

Thanks for the reply. Yep, that was the plan to order from Spruce.
