Hello patrol plan builders, I'm excited to join your ranks! Just sent off for the plans today after talking with Bob. Super nice guy.
I had two questions - I've heard great things about keeping a Dremel on hand. Does anyone feel these would be especially helpful on this project?
Also, out of pure curiosity, is there a handheld nav/com radio on the market, or some accessory, that allows pilot/passenger intercom as well? Only intercoms I've seen are from panel-mount devices, not handheld. Just curious what's out there.

    Hi Mark
Welcome aboard. I've been using a DRE portable intercom for several years now. First in a Cessna 150, and now in my Challenger II. It's connected into my Icom handheld radio in the Challenger.

The Dremel tool is indispensable for cutting tack welds when something needs to be moved. Use their thinnest cutoff wheels. these are the ones I use: http://www.dremel.com/en-US/Accessor...aspx?pid=EZ409
