    Welcome, Mike

I am not sure you are going to get an answer - this is not a VANS aircraft where every rivet call out is specified. The bore of the rivet (-3, -4 or -5) can be determined by the size of the hole shown in the plans or by that specified in writing. As for the length, you need one of these - https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catal...engthgauge.php

Then you either need a selection of lengths or get long rivets and a rivet cutter.

    Hope this helps.

effectively I built 2 Zenair on plans and 1 RV9A kit me it is the length of the rivets that I wanted to be able to order in advance

For the 470-5 rivets I used -6, -8, -10 and -12s, for 470-4 rivets I used -12s (root attach fitting). Not all inclusive, I can't find what I used on the spacers/attach angles.

Mike, the rivet lenghs can be computed by examining the drawings. The forward spar has only -4 and -5 diameters. The rear spar is only -4 diameter. It would be nice if you actually measure your capstrip and spacer bar stock to zero in your computations. Scrounge as many 1/8 and 5/32 cleco's as you can.

                Mike;

I had nothing better to do one day, and counted up the number of rivets needed. This list covers everything on Plans P. 5.

Here are the total number of rivets that the plans call for from pages 1 to 6. (I know someone must be saying "Who Counts Rivets?" How else are you going to know how many to order? )
                  An470ad3
                  -3 = 1300 or .43lbs
                  -3.5 = 600 or .23lbs
                  -5 = 100 or .06lbs
                  an470ad4
                  -5 = 200 or .18lbs
                  -6 = 600 or .50lbs
                  -7 = 100 or .13lbs
                  -9 = 30 or .05
                  -10 = 20 or .05
                  -11 = 40 or .06
                  -13 = 70 or .12
                  an470ad5
                  -5 = 60 or .10lbs
                  -7 = 130 or ..25lbs
                  -9 = 210 or .45lbs
                  -11 = 350 or 1.0 lbs
As I look at the list, realize rivets are cheap, and a cut rivet doesn't buck as nice as a normal rivet. So order some AN470AD3-4's too.
