  • Full Size Ribs - Forms

I have my full size rib forms (1" MDF). After reviewing several builder logs & photos I have a question.

Did any of you also make full size cut template forms? Like we see on separate nose rib forms? Or just transfer the 9/16" flange direct from the master form to the aluminum?

As I type this I guess I might be answering my own question as the need to final edge trim (on router, etc.).

    Thanks,

    I did make a full-size form.

no, just use the 9/16" washer to draw the flange distance around the form

I chose to use the existing form blocks for the nose rib, center rib, and flap rib, with a simple bridge piece between the flap and center rib to cut and form the two full size ribs...
