  • Airbrushing epoxy primer

I bought a new airbrush based on the advice of a professional artist in my model airplane club. It's called the Neoeco NCT-SJ83. I have had a chance to put it through it's paces and it's a great airbrush. It comes with. 3 needles and nozzles and I used the largest to spray Stits EP430 epoxy primer. I have used an airbrush to prime all the detail parts in the wings, even the spar webs and I am really satisfied with the results. This new airbrush is much better then my old one. YouTube has several videos on using this airbrush plus disassembling and cleaning. I will be using it soon to prime my tail assembly weldments. You can get into all the tight spots without a lot of expensive overspray. Stits primer is really expensive and this airbrush pays for itself by putting the primer exactly where you need it. Plus primer is heavy and you can really control the film thickness with this tool. No runs or drips. And the best part is it's around $40.00 from Amazon.
    Cheers

I may try one for touch up. Not a year old and I have already had to fix a tear in the fabric back at the tail.
