How to handle the rivet tail and upper baggage door former interference? Relief holes in former...? Drill them out and use blind rivets thru former and window frame

Also, to rivet this together, as well as the window frames to the stringers...what size /type rivets to use. Thinking blind rivet size -3, but any other particular type/characteristics preferred? Next size up (-4) seem too big for the stringer dimensions they will penetrate/fasten to along the bottom of the window frame.

    Thanks for any insight/thoughts! Dave

Thanks Brook, hadn't considered going under the window frame. The pics certainly help - thanks you!

I finally decided to tryy and resolve this interference issue I had. Ended up giving the rivets a bit of extra squeeze, then shaved them down as much as I dared. At the rear of the frame I turned around and countersunk a rivet that wasn't interfering with any structure on the backside. This overall effort significantly improved the fit. Should be fine for the fabric overlay...?

How does it fit if you install the door frame under the window frame? So the Window frame lays on top of the door frame? That is how I show mine in post #2 and it went together real nice.

Brooks, I went out tonight and swapped it around trying the upper baggage former underneath the window frame...I'll be a son of a gun, it fits pretty well! It will be even better after a drill out that rivet I reversed and reinstall as it came LOL. Thanks for the follow-up!
