Trailing edge nut plate oops.

Had a “helper” drilling holes for nut plates while I was working elsewhere. Started riveting nutplates along the wing root and discovered this issue. Wracking my brain trying to figure out how to clamp the edges together to rivet. Went away and came back later and the solution of course was obvious. The single leg nutplate should be aligned with trailing edge.

Just run the nutplate the other direction. Not sure why you need this.

Yep. You are 100% correct. Just needed to walk away for a little while. Now just need to find my magic hole eraser.
