My name is Andy and I hope to begin scratch building a 4 place bear hawk by the end of the year. Looking for a 5 year completion. I am in Tyler, Texas which is 90 miles east of Dallas.

Welcome Andy! Tyler is a nice place. My son graduated from LeTourneau in Longview. I visited him a number of times and drove through Tyler a few times on the way there and back. Good luck on your build...lots of BH stuff going on in Texas.

Welcome fellow Texan! Though transplanted kicking and screaming to Missouri years ago I was born and raised in the Great Republic of Texas. I too am building the Bearhawk and am currently making the gazillion rib stiffeners and attach angles. This is definitely the place to benefit from the experience of other BH builders.

Thanks mike! I am eager to start. My wife and I are closing on our first house next week and I am finally going to have a place to build!
