  • Starting a BH in Argentina

    Hello all:

My name is Sergio Luna, my last name means moon in Spanish, which justifies the avatar =D

I live in Argentina and I'm about to embark myself (and family and friends) into the wild adventure of building my own plane.

After some research I have chosen the Bearhawk as my project. In the process I gave the builder's virus to two friends.

So I expect in the near future be seeing three markers at the Builder Map in Argentina.

I had read several posts and I can tell you all are very helpful and open,so, I'll start posting soon... I need a LOT of help from you.

There is a LOT more to say about me but I like a little suspense....

    Cheers
    Sergio

Thanks Chris and Cpeterson for your welcome! I live very close to Argentinian capital city, Buenos Aires. Are we neighbors? =D

I lived in Buenos Aires for three months back in 2004. What a wonderful place! I worked out of Ezeiza but also took a flight from the small Newberry airport downtown once. I enjoyed many of the tourist sights, and I don't think I've eaten as well in the years since.

Jared: Let me know if you ever come back! Where did you stayed while in Buenos Aires? Did you work in Ezeiza? Now I want to know! XD

I lived in a hotel near Juncal and Suipacha. We were flying cargo to and from Brazil.

Sergio, I grew up in the provinces of La Rioja and Catamarca. Over the years my family made quite a few trips to Buenos Aires; typically we drove across the country. My last visit down there was in 2007 but someday I'd like to take my wife into Buenos Aires, rent a car and drive across the country, then over the Andes into Santiago, Chile.

Sorry it's taken so long to respond. Mejor dicho, por favor disculpame por la demora! Me encantaria compartir un asado con usted y su familia y yo tendre que traer unos buenos vinos de La Rioja y Mendoza.

I used to live on Avenida Peron, just down the street from one of the main high schools in La Rioja, ENET#1.
