Hey yall, figured it was high time I introduce myself. I've been lurking on these forums for a while now, I've passed through the "oh god, oh god, which kit do I want?" Phase to the "ok, here's what I need to do to make it happen phase."
You really have a great resource here, a ton of information, and some awesome people.
I cannot wait to use my 4 place Bearhawk Quick-build because I dream of flying my family of four on every vacation...
I kid, I kid. I almost typed that with a straight face.
I decided on the Bearhawk for the same reason I drove a 4Runner for 15 years and 380,000 miles; I may do 80% of that solo and on pavement, but I have never once regretted having the ability to haul more and go wherever I needed to go, when I needed to do it.
With two young daughters, a full time business, and life a QB kit really was the most logical choice for actually getting something accomplished on this side of 40.
So thanks for all the information and I plan to annoy you over the next few years with questions and and, hopefully one day, a completed airplane.
