Hi! Just purchased a set of plans for the Bearhawk LSA. Looking forward to getting started. Will scratch build what I can and buy the more complex components as I get deeper into the project. Looking forward to meeting and communicating with fellow builders!

Welcome to the group! I started scratch building a Patrol in March of this year. I find the process very enjoyable, and hope the same for you. I started the wings, buy what tools and materials I need as I go along. It all starts with a sheet of 3/4 inch MDF. If your like me you might be a bit apprehensive to start, but once you take a jump, it feels great.

My sister runs a farm just outside of Sebastopol. Love flying into STS when we visit. Next time I'm down there I'll have to give you a holler.

Hey Mark. I'm in Sebastopol all the time. Lots of friends there and also the location of my daughter's favorite tack store. STS is a wonderful airport! We're often socked in in the mornings but other than that it's a great area to live and fly.
