Greetings Bearhawkers! I recently discovered the Bearhawk and love that it fills the niche between not being able to afford a new Husky and that a four-place option is available. I am a corporate pilot based on the Treasure Coast of Florida. Hopefully we will soon be in a position that an endeavor such as this will be possible for us. In the mean time I will have time to read up on all that goes into a project such as this. While here I hope to learn what to expect the project to cost in money and time and learn from the lessons other builders have had.

Hi Markus! You will have plenty to read while you wait!! Truthfully, getting a good handle on the time and money commitment is pretty important as realizing you can't finish after a huge time/money investment is not good. So you are taking a very important step now. The ONLY way I am "scratchbuilding" is because my building partner has all the skills and tools needed. Otherwise I would certainly be a kit builder, if that. Being realistic at the start is pretty important.
