Hi Dudly, Yes, it can seem a bit daunting when you look at the entire project. I found that for me, looking at one page of the plans at a time kept me from feeling overwhelmed. I would concentrate on making all the parts on one page, then move on to the next page. For instance most people start with the wing ribs. Concentrate on the wing ribs only and nothing else. Do the research on the ribs, look at websites, read the manual, visit others kitlog pages, etc just reading about wing ribs. Then figure out what you need the aluminum, the snips or router, the formblock, etc. I found that it was much easier for me when I broke it down into small bite-sized pieces.

Welcome to the insanity Dudly! Strongly recommend the purchase of newsletter archives, Russ Erb's CD, and Eric's manuals as well - even though in a way it makes it harder to focus on the the small portion, it sure helps the research part.

I agree with Eric. I still get overwhelmed at times and have to force myself to just focus on one step at a time. We'll get there, once piece at a time.
