  • Prospective 4 place QB builder in LI

    Hi,
    I am from Long Island, NY and am hoping to build 4-place QB in the future. for the mission I am looking for, Bearhawk 4 place is a perfect fit. I have begun researching to learn home built aircraft and about this build, cost breakdown. etc. I have ordered Russ' Bearhawk Reference CD to dig in a little deeper while I resolved some constrains so I can make this build a reality. I am looking at VFR that can be upgrade to IFR later

    I already had email contact with Mark from Bearhawk who directed me to this forum. any input welcome.

    Rey;

    Have you flown in a Bearhawk yet?
    What is your background?
    If ______ was resolved I would build a Bearhawk.

      Hi Brooks,

      I have not flown in any Bearhawk and do not have any tailwheel experience. I am a new aviator, began my real world flying in a Cessna 172 early last year with a flight school and almost finishing up with my instrument rating.

      Main constrain is build space. I do not have garage in my house. I do have a long (about 60'), open air, paved driveway between my next door neighbors. I am thinking of shipping/storage container, but not sure how this industrial box fit in a suburban neighborhood
