New builder in Illinois

Hello All,
I just wanted to introduce myself. I ordered a QB 4 place from Mark and am expecting delivery Friday 6/26/20. Mark has been a pleasure to deal with. I've previously built and fly a RV7. I'll eventually have to part with it once this build progresses. It has been a great plane and a great project. I'm in need of four seats though as I have a wife, 4 and 11 year old boy. My 11 year old is very excited to participate in the build. He was pretty young watching the RV get built but loved it. I live on a grass strip LL51. Shoot me a message if you find yourself nearby and want to stop by.
A Bearhawk builder in Wisconsin was kind enough to show my son and I his plane and take me for a ride. What an awesome airplane. I can't wait to get started.

Welcome to the forum Mike. As time goes by perhaps more of the RV builders will see the all around usefulness of the Bearhawks. Not quite as fast as the RV's for sure - but still pretty fast for a plane that can haul a lot and land places an RV would not be happy. That is pretty much how I got into the BH world. After dinging up my RV8 on a gravel strip.
