I have about finished the nose ribs except for the holes for counterweight tube. Be doing those tomorrow.
I am looking at the the triangular trailing ribs . I guess the front of those must slip inside the spar-- so I know roughly how tall the rib should be at the front.
But -- how do I know that the length of the rib is ? I dont see it shown......
i am guessing that the contour comes from the back of the master rib - but I dont see how to find the exact distance from the rear face of the spar to the back edge of the trailing edge.
I have to know that length in order to make the rib form block.
How do I find that ?
also-- does everyone commonly use a pre-made trailing edge from spruce or chief or equivalent- (as opposed to making it from scratch--)
