Just noticed that you dont have a tip rib on your stab. Looks like you used tubing instead. Do your plans show a tube there ? Mine show a sheet metal...Leave a comment:

horizonal stab rib through holes---
I have cut my 3 holes in the ribs that the diagonal passes through. Has anyone thought of making something like a rubber grommet in the center... -
Try a wool felt on the form. It should have better insulating power and it wont melt like a polyester based felt.
Lamp are generally too in-homogeneous... -
