where does this go ? (wing fence)

Just noticed on my patrol plans- the plans show a sheet metal aerodynamic wing fence that mounts on top of the wing.
i dont remember that on the 4 place plans. Anyway--- I have not noticed yet--- where it indicates the position from root- to tip where it is mounted.
It also does not seen to show how it is connected. I would thing a row ( or twin rows) of riveted in blind nuts might be nice so it could be removed from the top if needed later.
Any thought ?

Optional/not necessary. Carlo's Patrol was taxing around after his engine start party this past weekend, and definitely looked better for not having fences cluttering up the top of the wing.
