Main tank rear outlet routing

  • Main tank rear outlet routing

    I'm in the process of plumbing my fuel tanks. The flap torque tube seems to be right in the way of running the rear tank outlet tubing. There is only 1/2" clearance between the torque tube and the wing skin and I am afraid if I lift the tubing above it the tank won't drain completely. Looking for advise.

    I figured this out, I wasn't thinking in 3 dimensions. There is enough space between the wing root and fuselage to route the line outside of the flap torque tube arm.

      I think you're building a 4 place and I'm working on a Patrol, so I'm not sure how similar the two are, at the wing root. I see that you figured it out, but I took a picture today, while working. See below;
