Wow, what a discussion, really neat! Yes, I know all about the roll threads one would like to have. I purchased SS 3/16 rod from Spruce. Four, 4ft length for about $75 total,I then threaded the ends. I now have 220 hrs no vibration. My 4130 strut is doing fine. My LSA tops out at 135mph with 6x8.5x 21inch tires. All is well, I do preflight and post inspections. Stinger IMG_0817.jpg

The Patrol calls for 1/4” threads which is what I had rolled on but I would guess 3/16” would be Plenty adequate since that is what is used on all the aerobatic Citabrias. I’ll have to do some tensile testing.

The LSA plans specify #10 tail wires with 10-32 threads.
